Teen Gifts and Shopping Strategies

Believe it or not it is fairly simple to find teen gifts. Although some may have outlandish tastes, most teens are reasonable in their gift expectations and really don't require much to please.Teens are not really verbal with their thoughts so don't be too hopeful that they will tell you want they want. A trick is to observe their interests from their daily activities, and give gifts that feed to those interests, ie sports,music,after-school clubs. You can give them items that their friends have they may not or just ask their friends about teen gifts that would be best to buy. The most fun however is just shopping by intuition and by picking up on some hints they may drop every now and then. I have some more specific tips for you if you are still stumped, but remember have fun shopping and don't get too caught up on details just go with the flow of your heart (and wallet).

Get Some Gear: Luckily teenagers still wear clothes so buy some as teen gifts. The trick is to know their taste and style because if you get that wrong colored "skull and bone" t-shirt you will never see it worn in daytime (or night). It would be safe however to go with a gift card from the teen's favorite store. That way the pressure is off of you.

Latest Technology: The most recent electronics are high on any teens wish list. The most popular are laptops,cameras,mp3s,phones, and video games. So you should look into surprising that lovely adolescent with some gadgets of the 21st century.

Downloads: Since most good entertainment comes from the internet nowadays a gift of downloads would be superb. Music, movies, ring tones, video games etc.. are gotten from the web so get a gift certificate from sites that offer them and give it as a gift.

Friends and Fun: As a gift arrange for the recipient and their friends to "hang out". The amusement park, skating rink,a ball game, the beach. Anywhere really would be fine. However paying for the food and admission would required for it to really a gift.

Magazine Subscription: Pay for a year's subscription to their favorite magazine. If you don't know what it may be just ask or look around their room.

Ribbon Gifts: Ribbon Gift Collections make excellent teen gifts for that pubescent boy and young lady on your list. The selection of trendy, name-brand quality items and the convenience of online redemption makes it a gift that keeps giving. Learn More!!!

Fitness Items: Most teens are active in some kind of sport so give a gift that involves that particular activity like some basketball shoes, a football helmet, or some hockey sticks. If your teen is not into any sports it is likely they are into 'getting fit' so just get some workout equipment like a ab ball and bands or some weights.

Add to privileges: Some great teen gifts require very little time and energy to get. If you are in the position to raise their allowance, add to their monthly text messages and phone minutes, or extend their curfew.. This is also great for those who do not have a lot to spend on a gift.

Driving Dreams: At the top of any teen gift list is a car. It could be new or used I don't think they would care too much. If you don't have money to buy a car, officially give them permission to start driving yours,or for those who are not driving yet you could offer them free driving lessons (that's if they are old enough). These would all make a great gift.

Accessorize What They Have: Give teens gifts that will add to what they already have. Like car seat covers for their car or a bluetooth headset for their phone.

Charity: Many teenagers become socially involved in high school. You could give a gift of charity by assisting in any causes they have taken interest in.

Money,Money,Money: This is a gift option that has existed since the beginning of time, but since we are in the 21st century at least you can do it with style. Try giving a visa money card. They are safer, cleaner and more trendy than a raggedy old bill from your pocket. They can be purchased online or from any bank.

GOLDEN RULE: Always have a greeting card or some kind of message accompanied with every gift. This small addition makes any gift much more valuable.
